Welcome to our blog! We – Susan Borax and Heather Knittel – authors of the book Good Riddance: Showing Clutter the Door– are the co-founders of Good Riddance Professional Organizing Solutions. Our Vancouver-based organization helps people manage the struggle they have with clutter that they cannot handle on their own.

Good Riddance: Showing Clutter the Door is a reality check and must-read for self-described packrats – and those in denial – on the issue of household accumulation, which is also known as C.R.U.D. (Completely Ridiculous Useless Debris).  These are 101 of the least favourite possessions you hope Godzilla will obliterate, by stepping through your roof on his way to crushing a packed movie theatre.

That brings us to our blog: C.R.U.D. Since the release of our book, we continue to find more examples of CRUD as we continue on our de-cluttering crusades, one junk drawer at a time. Every week we will be sharing our views on household items you need like a hole in the head.  We will continue to give you tips and tricks, advice and throw in some photos of the C.R.U.D. we find. The idea is to help you laugh your way – and not cringe your way – into a clutter-free existence.
